Naila recently joined the child abuse compensation team, assisting David Greenwood.

She completed her LLB (Hons) in Law at The University of Sheffield and will soon complete her Legal Practice Course, combined with Masters in Legal Practice.

Naila is a member of the Kirklees and Calderdale Junior Lawyers Division and is also a member of the Junior Lawyers Division in Sheffield.

EXPERIENCE

Naila has several years’ experience in litigation while working at a ministerial department of the British Government.

In 2019 Naila worked with vulnerable clients most notably the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in 2014 and individuals involved in the Windrush Scheme.

Naila was heavily involved on a high-profile case in 2017 which was held before the Supreme Court. This case subsequently influenced changes in the law.
