Conference announcement - Navigating life after a birth injury: Sam’s journey
By Suzanne Munroe
We are in the final stages of planning our Brain Injury at Birth Conference, taking place on 1 May 2025 at the Leeds Marriott Hotel. We’ve designed the event to appeal to professionals who are dedicated to supporting children and families affected by birth-related brain injuries.

The conference offers a unique opportunity to follow Sam’s journey , highlighting the real-life challenges families face. It will also bring to life the vital multidisciplinary support involved in navigating life after a birth injury.
From the traumatic delivery that led to the brain injury to ongoing legal, educational, and therapeutic interventions, Sam’s story sheds light on the resilience and collaboration required to improve outcomes for children and their families.
We’re delighted to have secured some of the leading experts working in rehabilitation, healthcare, legal and therapeutic fields as guest speakers.
For delegates looking for a deeper insight, some of our colleagues will be leading breakout sessions on important topics, including child contact orders, Court of Protection issues, safeguarding responsibilities and personal injury claims.
This conference is an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate with other professionals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with complex needs.
