Danielle specialises in Court of Protection health and welfare cases where adults lack the mental capacity to make decisions.  These decisions include where they should live, the care that they require and decisions in respect of contact with other people. She is also an accredited legal representative (ALR).

Danielle’s work includes:

• Representing the protected party through the Official Solicitor
• Representing relatives of a protected party
• Acting as ALR on behalf of a protected party, appointed directly by the courts
• Dealing in section 21A MCA 2005 challenges and section 15/16 welfare applications

Danielle is very passionate and robust about trying to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and continually acts in their best interests.

She always tries to ensure that the relatives of the protected party’s views are considered throughout proceedings and that the relatives are kept fully appraised at each stage.
