Helen has 25 years' experience of medical negligence work. She is based at our Barnsley office, but her role takes her to all of our medical negligence departments across the region.

Helen is an accredited civil litigation practitioner and experienced legal operations lead.

She leads, drives and coordinates discrete projects to enhance the colleague proposition; client service levels,  strategic approach to the ever-evolving legal landscape and overall commercial performance.

Helen will ensure that cases are progressed as quickly as possible without compromise to the overall client outcome and that all settled cases achieve the maximum return on our investment.

She will be focusing initially on existing projects relating to enhancements to the case management system to provide an improved platform for transparent performance data.

Across her professional career, Helen has adopted a client centric approach. Helen has a forensic eye for detail and is a good listener. She is able to see the big picture and quickly apply the facts. She places great importance on securing the best outcome for her clients, working collaboratively and ensuring that her approach is understood by those she represents. Helen is quickly able to establish trust and confidence through the results she achieves.  Helen will go above and beyond. EXPERIENCE

In a previous role, Helen has supported on a bid for  / renewal of  ISO 9001 accreditation; achieving Platinum status on initial application.  She has also headed departmental recruitment and retention initiatives including talent mapping, apprenticeships, performance improvement and professional accreditation applications.
